Some friends of ours in Bentonville, Arkansas have a daughter who is a teacher in the Fort Smith, Arkansas area. After completing her first full year as a teacher, she bought her first home! It’s an older home with a few issues, but it’s hers and we’re proud to help her in the first phase of “fixing it up.”
The garage floor was in horrible shape. It had major cracks that were every bit of 2″ wide and 4″ deep. While structurally sound, the cracks in her garage floor would have scared off other garage floor coating experts in a hurry. Not at NWA Garage Floors… Our specialty is garage floor coatings. That means being able to repair any problem that may come with it.
The garage door wouldn’t sit properly because the house settled in such a way that the cracks in the middle went up almost 3″ while the sides went down. The cracks were heaved, so they had to be ground down with a scarifier.
After all the major cracks were repaired, we tackled the block walls. This was considerably easier compared to the floor!
The rest is history! We applied our material and our friends ended up with one of the best garage floor transformations we’ve seen in recent years.
